This college was granted affiliation up to Degree Part l Arts & Science stream from the session 1970-72 and up to Degree stage from the session 1971-72. At present this college in parts teaching up to Hons. Degree in almost all subjects of Arts & Science faculties. The central government is working to revolutionize the higher education system and make the country one of the premier centers of education in the world. The attempt of revolutionizing higher education in the country is most welcome.

Administrative Leadership: Managing the day-to-day operations of the college falls under the purview of the principal. This includes overseeing faculty and staff, allocating resources, budgeting, and implementing policies to enhance the overall functioning of the institution.

Curriculum Development: Principals work closely with academic departments to develop and revise the college curriculum to meet the needs of students and align with industry trends. They ensure that courses are relevant, up-to-date, and in line with accreditation standards.

Quality Assurance: Maintaining academic quality and standards is a key aspect of the principal's role. They monitor and evaluate teaching effectiveness, academic performance, and student outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. This may involve conducting faculty evaluations, student assessments, and program reviews.

Student Affairs: The principal is ultimately responsible for the well-being of students. They oversee student services such as counseling, student activities, and support programs. Creating a conducive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated is a top priority.
