This college was granted affiliation up to Degree Part l Arts & Science stream from the session 1970-72 and up to Degree stage from the session 1971-72. At present this college in parts teaching up to Hons. Degree in almost all subjects of Arts & Science faculties. The central government is working to revolutionize the higher education system and make the country one of the premier centers of education in the world. The attempt of revolutionizing higher education in the country is most welcome.
Foundational Courses: College physics programs typically begin with foundational courses that cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and optics. These courses provide a solid grounding in the fundamental principles of physics and develop students' problem-solving skills.
Quantum Mechanics: Study of the behavior of matter and energy at the smallest scales, where classical mechanics no longer applies.
Statistical Mechanics: Investigation of the statistical behavior of large systems of particles, leading to an understanding of phenomena such as phase transitions and thermodynamic properties.
Electrodynamics: Advanced study of electromagnetism, including Maxwell's equations and their applications to topics such as waves, radiation, and optics.
Relativity: Exploration of Einstein's theories of special and general relativity, which describe the behavior of objects moving at high speeds or in strong gravitational fields.
Laboratory Work:Physics education often includes laboratory work, where students perform experiments to explore and verify physical principles, develop experimental techniques, and learn to analyze data. Laboratory courses complement theoretical coursework and provide hands-on experience with scientific instruments and methods.
Research Opportunities: Many physics programs offer opportunities for students to engage in research projects or independent study under the guidance of faculty members. These projects allow students to explore topics of interest, develop research skills, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
