This college was granted affiliation up to Degree Part l Arts & Science stream from the session 1970-72 and up to Degree stage from the session 1971-72. At present this college in parts teaching up to Hons. Degree in almost all subjects of Arts & Science faculties. The central government is working to revolutionize the higher education system and make the country one of the premier centers of education in the world. The attempt of revolutionizing higher education in the country is most welcome.

Historiography:College-level history courses often delve into historiography, which is the study of the methods, interpretations, and theories used by historians to understand the past. Students learn how historical narratives are constructed, how interpretations change over time, and how historians analyze and critique sources.

Global Perspectives:College history courses increasingly emphasize global perspectives, examining the interconnectedness of societies, cultures, and civilizations across different regions and time periods. Students explore topics such as globalization, imperialism, migration, and cross-cultural exchange.

Writing and Communication Skills: History education emphasizes writing and communication skills, as students are required to express their ideas clearly and persuasively in essays, research papers, and presentations. Professors often provide feedback on writing to help students refine their analytical and argumentative abilities.
